As you wander through the picturesque town of Trebinje, make sure to take a stroll down to the local farmers' market - Green market. A relic of a bygone era, the market is a treasure trove of authentic local produce and a chance to experience the vibrant atmosphere of a traditional marketplace.

Held every Saturday, the market comes alive with farmers and small producers selling their fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses. You can chat with the vendors, sample the wares, and stock up on delicious local delicacies such as cheeses, olive oil, teas, prosciutto, and hand-knitted socks.

One of the market's highlights is its location on the main square, where it is set up every morning and transforms the area into a colourful and lively scene. If you're lucky enough to visit on a market day, grab a coffee and sit under the plane trees to fully take in the sights and sounds of the market.

Unfortunately, the market closes around 2 pm, but it will be back the next Saturday, giving you another opportunity to experience this unique and charming market. Don't miss out on the chance to try some of Hercegovina's famous delicacies, buy souvenirs, or simply soak up the friendly atmosphere.

Opening hours are subject to change during holidays, so we definitely advise you to check in advance.
