Visit Orjen Nature Park - a mountain that will amaze you and capture you with its rocky plateaus and attractive cracked rocks. Although Orjen may seem inhospitable and unconquerable at first glance, allow it to charm you from the first steps with beautiful views.

This mountain is home to the famous village of Crkvice, which is considered the rainiest place in Europe, with around 5 meters of precipitation annually. The mountain massif covers 18,156 hectares, containing several habitat types of European importance, such as caves, forests, grasslands, mountain pastures, and meadows. This area is ideal for the survival of significant animal species, such as bears, wolves, rock partridges, and an attractive bird of prey - the Bonelli's eagle. Additionally, this area is known for the presence of the so-called "munika" (a pine species from the "Pinaceae" family) which grows only in the Balkans. Thanks to this endemic species, Orjen has gained the status of a protected area, where specimens of munika reach the age of up to 650 years old!

The massif area is recognized as the most attractive for so-called "active vacation" - staying in nature, hiking, mountaineering, and speleology. The mountain also offers a special charm for nature lovers who enjoy collecting mushrooms and medicinal plants.
